“EL CONDE,” a Panamanian urban music artist, has lived in New York City (USA) since he was 7 years old.

In 2001, he was a member of the bachata and merengue group “911” (Emergencia Musical), which charted on the Billboard Latin charts under the Prestige record label and distributed by Sony.

Their first single, “Que Es Lo Que Está Pasando,” reached number 19 on the Billboard charts in New York City, selling over 60,000 copies, 30,000 of which were sold in Puerto Rico, where the group was very successful. The group disbanded in 2005.

Samy returned to the music scene years later, in 2009, under the stage name “El Conde,” and reunited with producer John Kano of Havana Funk, recording a collaboration. WITH AMERICAN ARTIST SELMA DAVIS ON THE SONG “MOVE YOUR CHIPS”.

In 2017, el conde undertook his first media and concert tour in spain, appearing on the most important television network and one of the country’s highest-rated programs, telecinco’s “sálvame deluxe”. He gave numerous radio interviews, notably on the country’s leading urban music station, “loca latino fm” (which remained at the top of the chart for several weeks), and performed concerts, notably at the rose club in madrid.

With the support of the Dominican promoter SERVIMUSIC LATINO, in 2018 he began to gain recognition in the Dominican Republic, presenting his first single, “Don’t Stop (No Pares),” on various media outlets, including TV Teledigital, Radio KQ, and 247FM.

In 2019, under the guidance of his manager, Cristian Rivera (also known as Gungie), “El Conde” released his hit single, “Soy Tuyo,” which became available on major digital platforms on May 17, 2019.
